4. CDS Gain Adjustment 1) Purpose Adjust the CCD sensitivity. Adjust 3 gains, namely, Normal mode gain, 2x sensitivity gain and 4x sensitivity gain. 2) Setting � Warm up the brightness box. Refer to the instruction manual for the brightness box to be used. � Set the brightness of the brightness box to the value designated by the message box. Ensure the correct brightness by using a luminance meter. � Set the camera in front of the brightness box. � Shut off ambient light. 3) Adjustment Procedures a) Select �CDS Gain Adj.� from the menu screen. The following message is displayed.

Note : � Do not terminate this program halfway since this adjustment requires more time in comparison with other adjustments. The message of �Timeout� is displayed when communication errors occur.
