Detaching the battery pack
1 Turn the player off. 2 Disconnect the AC adapter and the power cord from the player. 3 Turn the player upside down. 4 Slide the battery pack�s lock switch in the direction of the arrow 1 , then slide the battery pack in the direction of the arrow 2 to remove it.

5 Replace the connector cover on the bottom of the player.
Note Do not detach the battery pack while the POWER/CHG indicator illuminates in green or orange.
About battery pack life
Battery pack has a duration life. When the playback time becomes remarkably shorter, even if the battery pack is fully charged, change to a new battery pack (SDPBP14).
