Selecting Effects
You can use an EFX insert effect along with delay, reverb and chorus to enhance the selected sound. Use the following procedure to select an EFX: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Press EFX so it�s lit to turn the EFX on. Turn the knob under EFX Type to choose an effect. Press and hold the EFX button so it blinks. The 1- 5 buttons light according to how many variations are available for the selected effect. Press any lit button (1-5) to choose a variation. Press the EFX button when you�re finished. Press the button under DELAY, CHORUS or REVERB until it�s lit to activate the corresponding effect. Press and hold the DELAY, CHORUS or REVERB button so it blinks. The 1-5 buttons light according to how many variations are available for the selected effect. Press any lit button (1-5) to select a variation. Press the selected effect button again when you�re finished.

Selecting Patches
You can select patches with the A/B and Numbers 1-5 buttons. Use the following procedure: 1. Press the A/B button to select Bank A or B. 2. Press a numbered button, 1-5, to select a patch. Bank A selects 1-5, Bank B selects 6-10. Try the following patches: #1 American Lead #5 Bright Acoustic #3 Dark Chorus #8 Flange Metal 7.

Programming and Storing a Patch Selecting Amps and Speakers
The sound of a variety of amplifiers can be created by selecting an amplifier type, using EQ to adjust tone and by specifying the speaker type. Use the following procedure to change amplifiers: 1. Turn the knob located under AMP to choose the desired amp. 2. Turn the knob located under SPEAKER to select the desired speaker cabinet. Note: When adjusting volume, EQ or effects, always turn the knob fully clockwise and then fully counterclockwise to find the null point�the previous setting. Then adjust the knob to the desired setting. Amplifier, speaker, EQ and effect settings can be customized and saved to memory for later recall. Use the following procedure to edit and save a patch:. 1. Select an AMPLIFIER by turning the knob under AMP. 2. Select a SPEAKER by turning the knob under SPEAKER. 3. Adjust the GAIN, VOLUME and EQ settings by turning their respective knobs. 4. Select an effect by pressing the button under EFX, DELAY, CHORUS or REVERB to turn on the desired effect. 5. Press the WRITE button when you�re finished to 6. 7. 8. store your settings. Press the A/B button to select Bank A or B. Press Buttons 1-5 to select a patch location for your edited patch. Press the WRITE button again to save the patch. The WRITE button blinks quickly and then stops after the patch has been saved.
