Usecleansing powdersor aplastic scouring padto remove stubborn soil.Wipe acid or sugar stains as soon asthe oven is cool as these stains may discolor or etch the porcelain. Donot use metallic securing padsasthey will scratch the porcelain.Tomakecleaning easier,place 1/2cup household ammoniain a shallow glass andleave ina cold ovenovernight.The ammoniafumes will help loosenthe burned on grease and food. Ovencleanerscan be used on the porcelain oven butfollow manufacturer's directions. If oven cleaner was used, thoroughly rinse oven cavity and capillarytube which islocated atthe top ofthe oven. Oven cleanerscan not be usedon the continuous cleaning oven finish. Cleanwith soapywater. Removestubborn soilwith cleansingpowderorsoapfilledscouring pad. Rinse and dry. These cleaning agents will scratch or marr finish. NOTE:When cleaning around the surfaceburner,use care to preventdamage to the ignitor which is located at the back-side of each burner. If a cleaning cloth should catch the ignitor, it could damage or break it. Ifthe ignitor is damaged or broken, the surface burner will not light.
