4. When the display reads VNTGASH, press the AMP SAVE button again. Select Models for the Presets Channels
In the previous steps, you selected a Vintage bass amp model for the Green Channel and an Ashdown amp model for the Red Channel. Then you Warped the two together to create our HyperModel. This HyperModel is saved as an amp type that you named VNTGASH, but it is not currently part of your preset. In this example preset, you need to be able to toggle between a Fuzz bass simulation and your new HyperModel. To do this you need to select the Fuzz model for the Green Channel and VNTGASH for the Red Channel of your preset, as follows: 1. The LED next to the STATUS button should be yellow. If it is not, press EXIT. 2. Rotate the Parameter 1 knob until the display reads fuzz. This is the Green Channel Model for the preset. 3. Rotate the Parameter 4 knob until the display reads VNTGASH (our new HyperModel). This is the Red Channel Model for the preset. This lets you toggle between these two sounds using the Amp Footswitch (when Stompbox Mode is active).
Edit the Preset
The next step to creating our example preset involves editing the preset. To edit the preset, do the following:
Turn the Compressor/Fretless Simulator Off
1. Press the EFFECT SELECT DOWN button. The Matrix LED in the Comp/Fretless row lights. The display briefly reads EDIT and then cycles between the status of the Compressor/Fretless effects. 2. If the red display reads Cmp/Fret On, press the STATUS button once to turn the compressor off (since our example does not use the compressor). 33
