No Digital output from optical and Coaxial terminal terminal Go Check point : the user's set up manual Observe : check the audio set-up is in digital output mode Yes Check point : pin 10 of CN501 on AV output board Observe : the +5V is presented . Yes Check point : R23 at pin 118 of Ess60x8 Observe : check is the R23 opened. No Check point : CN1at decoder board and CN501 on AV output board Observe : check is any poor contact between CN1 and CN51. No Check point : the copper trace between pin 118 of ESS60x8 to SPDIF at pin 8 of CN1. Observe : check is there any opened trace or poor soldering. Solution : check the output at pin 41of ESS60x8. If no signal from pin 41, change the IC of ESS60x8
