Use the supplied headphones. You cannot monitor the sound through the speaker during microphone recording even if you set the SPEAKER switch to ON. H a high-pitched howling sound is heard Move the headphones and the microphone farther apart, or reduce the volume. Adjusting the output volume does not affect the sound to be recorded.
