Battery charge/Handset registration

L If battery replacement is necessary, press the notch of the handset cover and slide it off. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. Important: L Use only the rechargeable Panasonic battery noted on page 3. Attention: Note: L To ensure that the battery charges properly, clean the charge contacts of the handset and base unit with a soft, dry cloth once a month. Clean more often if the unit is subject to the exposure of grease, dust, or high humidity.
