Tune in the FM car radio frequency. Tune in the frequency which gives the best sound near the frequency set in the step 1 .
Notes: A frequency between 87.5 MHz and 88.4 MHz can be selected. Lower the volume of the monitor and adjust the sound level with the sound control of the radio. When tuning in the FM frequency, the autoseek function may not always stop on the correct frequency. In these cases, tune in the frequency manually. Changes in temperature could cause the frequency to drift. In such cases, you may hear a slightly distorted audio. Retune the frequency to eliminate the distortion. The effective distance of the FM transmitter is about 1.5m (5 feet). Make sure the transmitter's antenna is within 1.5m of the FM receiver's antenna for best performance.
