Select this when the sound is too loud with �L.IN LVL 2� selected. This setting is recommended when connecting an audio device other than a portable audio device to the LINE IN jack. Select this when the sound is too loud with �L.IN LVL 3� selected. Select this when listening to a portable audio device (initial setting).

Presetting Automatic DVD Video Sound Increase Level

Adjusting the Audio Output Level

DVD Video sound is sometimes recorded at a lower level than other discs and sources. You can set the increase level for the currently loaded DVD Video, so you do not have to adjust the volume when you change the source. � This only functions for DVD Video.

If the recorded sound on the device connected to the LINE OUT jack is too loud or too quiet, you can change the audio output level through the LINE OUT jack (without changing the volume level).
